SJ Rose Bookkeeping Named a Modern Luxury “Dynamic Woman” of 2026
· Susie Newman
We're so honored to share that Susie Newman, founder of SJ Rose Bookkeeping, was named a 2026 Dynamic Woman by Modern Luxury, recognizing women leaders across the Chicago area.
The feature traces the personal story behind SJ Rose. After Susie's father passed away, her mother, a business owner, asked her to help manage the bookkeeping her father had always handled. When Susie lost her mother five years later, she understood firsthand how overwhelming financial responsibilities can feel while grieving, and that experience became her calling. As she puts it, "You take care of each other. I'll take care of the finances."
SJ Rose is named for Susie's parents, Stuart and Janice, and her grandmother, Rose. In the feature, Susie shares how that philosophy shapes everything from how she supports business clients (accurate financials and the confidence to focus on growth) to how she supports individuals and families (order and reassurance during life's most overwhelming transitions).
"The wins I'm proudest of are my clients' wins."
